What holds a teenager's interest?
Capability stops being the constraint and interest becomes it. Almost nothing here is beyond a teenager physically, so the failure mode inverts: the risk is booking something they find dull rather than something they cannot manage.
The trips that ask something of you tend to land better than the ones that ask nothing. That is a generalisation about the format rather than about your children, and you know them and we do not.

Beautiful and entirely passive. Some teenagers love it; more of them are quietly bored.
What to ask before you pay
