- Arrive early. Beach parking fills first in season, and the water is calmest before midday, so an early arrival buys both.

- Your anchor: a shorter Crab Island block, a half-day on the water, or simply the beach with shade. One of these, not two.

- Harbour dinner if you can walk to it, then travel. Build in more road time than you expect in season.
If your anchor is a booked trip, choose a morning departure so a weather delay still leaves the afternoon usable.
What this shape gives up
Every itinerary trades something. Naming the trade is more useful than pretending it does not exist.
- A full-day charter and a day trip are incompatible; a full day on the water plus drive time is a fourteen-hour day.
- Two anchors means you experience the car more than the coast.
- There is no reschedule room at all, so a non-refundable booking carries the full weather risk.
